Nature’s Nutrition Organic Chia is grown by the Chia Seed Growing Farming Cooperative of Mexico. They are the only grower-producer and processor of Salvia Hispanica Chia. The Chia plants are cultivated at altitudes over 1800 meters in the mountains of South Mexico where the climate and soil quality are optimal for growing the highest quality of Chia. Known as the land of “eternal spring”, this area is graced with fertile volcanic peaks and mineral rich water from the surrounding mountain aquifers, offering an opportunity to produce remarkably high antioxidant seeds that are also rich in dietary fibre, protein and Omega 3s.
